The Fastest Way to Transform Your Life.
One powerful philosophy that accelerated my transformation was understanding my true identity—the person I aspire to become, the person I know I can be.
What is he doing? What is he eating? What does he love now?
This is where imagination becomes a powerful tool, building the bridge from your current self to your ideal self. It’s the first step in turning dreams into reality.
But here’s the challenge: bridging the gap between who you are now and who you want to become isn’t easy. It requires facing hard truths about your current self.
It’s pretty obvious that this future version of yourself possesses qualities that surpass your current self in every aspect.
Then why don’t we accelerate that change? Why don’t others do the same? Why do we constantly fall back into our ‘bad’ habits or old destructive routines?
Two main reasons why:
Ignoring yourself.
Narrative.
Ignoring Yourself
In today’s noisy world, it’s easy to drown out the voice of your inner self. But deep down, a part of you is crying out—not to cause chaos, but to guide you back to a life of purpose and meaning.
This means having a ‘why’ to bear the how of the world.
You know who knows more about yourself?
NEWS FLASH!
You.
Only you know how many lies you have covered, what parts you are misinterpreting, what you genuinely love to do, and what fuel will give you the power to bear the how of the world.
This is where most people get scared, and rightfully so. Many of us are composed of layers of falsehoods. Shedding these layers requires courage—it’s like dying and being reborn.
But if you have the courage to see through the lies you’ve told yourself, you can emerge anew, living a life of far greater value than before.
Meditate to understand what parts of yourself you are missing.
Sit in a room with no noise, only yourself and your thoughts.
Ask the question:
What parts am I ignoring or not understanding?
This process will bring you back to wholeness. Moving the emotionally and logically positive side moves you toward the desired future.
Narrative
Have you ever wondered why you do anything?
It’s all about the stories you repeatedly tell yourself until they become part of your system.
If you have a bad habit, it’s likely because you’ve embedded a certain narrative into your mind. You might not want to acknowledge these stories, but they influence everything you do.
To swiftly change your habits, you must rewrite the stories you tell yourself.
The best way to do this is by using your emotions as catalysts. You continually engage in habits because, emotionally, you don’t view them as bad—even if logically, you know they are.
Harness emotions like disgust to drive yourself away from harmful habits. Emotionally distance yourself from those ‘bad’ habits, and replace them with actions that benefit you.
Once you’ve set the tone to change, fill the void with positive habits—reading, writing, exercise, or anything that aligns both logically and emotionally with your goals.
Remember, you cannot simply quit a habit; you must replace it with something more beneficial.
Hopefully, this helps you.
